I also have scoliosis on my right side by a 25 degree angle. I don't think it has anything to do with my pain however. I was thinking a while back that maybe there is a connection with scoliosis and arachnoid cysts.

You can try something called tramadol, it doesn't usually cause side effects and doesn't cause dependence either.
